I believe in plain language, open data, and clear communication—so residents can understand what’s happening, why it matters, and how they can shape the future of Idaho Falls. When information is accessible, people feel empowered to lead alongside their mayor—not just watch from the sidelines.

Accountability to the Public
Promises mean nothing without proof. That’s why I’ll implement frequent reporting and outcome-based metrics that show exactly how city hall is performing. When residents can track progress in real time, trust grows—and so does our ability to solve problems together.

Imagine IF – Comprehensive Plan
Imagine IF is a bold plan—and like any big idea, it deserves scrutiny and refinement. I won’t pretend it’s perfect, but I also won’t demonize it for political points. With community input and smart adjustments, we can shape it into a tool that reflects our values and serves our future. Let’s improve it, not discard it.

Public Engagement
City government should never feel distant or closed off. I believe in proactive outreach, open forums, and real two-way communication—not just checking boxes. Whether it’s town halls, surveys, or neighborhood visits, I’ll make sure residents have meaningful ways to speak up, be heard, and help shape the decisions that affect their lives. When engagement is authentic, trust follows—and so does better policy.

Budget & Taxation
Budgets must be guided by performance, not politics. Every dollar should deliver measurable value to residents. With state limits on revenue growth, we must innovate, cut waste, and prioritize essentials. Transparency is non‑negotiable.

Growth
Growth is inevitable, but it must be guided—not left to chance. Idaho Falls should welcome new families and businesses while protecting the character of our neighborhoods. That means clear, consistent rules, faster permitting, and zoning that balances housing, commerce, and open space. Growth should strengthen our community, not overwhelm it.

Regional Collaboration
Growth, housing, and transportation don’t stop at city borders. Idaho Falls must lead with collaboration, not competition, to solve shared challenges with Ammon, Bonneville County, and neighboring communities.

Quality & Speed of Service
City government should serve residents as efficiently as the best businesses. People deserve quick, clear, and respectful service—whether they’re pulling a permit, paying a bill, or asking a question.

Infrastructure
Infrastructure is the backbone of daily life. Residents expect safe streets, smooth sidewalks, and traffic that flows. We must maintain what we have while planning ahead for growth, using data and transparency to prioritize projects.

Public Safety & Emergency Services
A growing city must keep pace with public safety needs. Residents deserve strong police, fire, and EMS services that are effective, accountable, and trusted.

Transportation
Transportation solutions must fit Idaho Falls. While some advocate for a bus system, we need to carefully weigh costs, benefits, and public demand. Our focus should be on practical, flexible options that improve mobility for all residents.
